KARACHI (92 News) – MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that the attitudes of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) divided the Sindh province. Addressing a joint press conference on Saturday, he said that there were two Sindh and an announcement in this regard has to be made. “The PPP had deceived the MQM and the people in the 18th Amendment. There is a situation of crisis and emergency in Sindh province,” he said. He demanded that 35 percent resources should be devolved to the lower level. “Resources have been snatched from a common man in the name of the provincial autonomy,” he added. The MQM-P leader said: “The province has already been divided into two parts by imposing the quota system in Sindh.” He added that the quota system is spreading hatred in urban areas. “The water issue may trigger riots in Karachi city.” Kanwar Naveed Jamil said that the Sindh governance has full arrangements for the destruction of the country. He announced that the MQM-P will hold a big public meeting in Bagh-e-Jinnah on April 27.
