Pre-arrest bail of Akram Durrani extended till Feb 19

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday extended interim pre-arrest bail of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) leader and Opposition Leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Akram Khan Durrani till February 19. A division bench of the IHC headed Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the petition and extended bail, which it had granted to JUI-F leader in corruption inquires against him. During the course of hearing, the IHC chief justice ordered the NAB to review arrests warrants of Akram Durrrani again. He also remarked that tell where the crime happened, asking, “You are trying to arrest the JUI-F leader and wants to deprive him from basic human rights.” Justice Athar Minullah directed the NAB chairman to review evidences and decided about arrests warrants of Akram Durrani.
