Pre-monsoon rain inundates low-lying areas in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – Pre-monsoon rain inundated low-lying areas in Lahore on Tuesday, bringing life to a standstill. Several areas were under knee-deep water after the rain across the city. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s constituency was presenting a pond-like look. Water was standing in several low-lying areas even hours after the rain. Voters have complained about alleged apathy of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq towards his constituency. They said that they would have not seen this day had the construction of roads and sewerage been done with honesty.
