LONDON (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that pre-poll rigging has been started for upcoming general election 2018. Talking to the journalists, Nawaz Sharif said that biased results of the elections would not be in favour of Pakistan. To a question about Avenfield reference, he said that consultation with lawyers is continued relating to the verdict of the accountability court. The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader denied to comment about decision before consultations with the lawyers, adding that he always takes fact based stance. On Tuesday, accountability court Judge Muhammad Bashir reserved the verdict on the Avenfield references against the Sharif family. The court will announce the judgment on July 6. The judgement was reserved after Nawaz Sharif’s counsel completed his arguments. The court has issued notices to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar for July 6. Earlier, Nawaz Sharif has said that they will not boycott the elections at any cost. He said that he would return to the country at all costs. “I am waiting for improvement in the health of my wife,” he said. The former prime minister said that pre-poll rigging is a dangerous game. “I want to go to Pakistan to fulfill my national responsibility,” he maintained. Nawaz Sharif said that a CT scan test was conducted on Kulsoom Nawaz. “May Allah Almighty give her health.” He said that his mission is to change the 70-year history of the country and make its future.
