Pregnant woman allegedly beaten to death by her husband

LAHORE (92 News) – A 26-year-old pregnant woman was allegedly brutally beaten to death by her husband in the provincial capital’s Ichhra area on Monday. As per details, Shahbaz, resident of Ichhra was married to Sundas three years ago but allegedly beaten his wife after they exchanged hot words after which she was shifted to hospital where she succumbed to wounds. The husband of the deceased woman Shahbaz managed to escape, while the heirs of Sundas staged protest demonstration outside Ichhra Police Station and chanted slogan. The deceased woman was the five-months pregnant and mother of a 2-year-old child. Her body was shifted to Jinnah hospital for autopsy.
