Preparations for I-Day celebrations in full swing

LAHORE (92 News) – Preparations are in full swing all over the country to celebrate Independence Day with full zeal and fervor. Streets and roads are being decorated with banners and national flags. Special stalls have been set up in markets and bazaars for the sale of national flags, green caps and buntings. The people, especially the children are enthusiastically purchasing national flags, buntings, posters, stickers and candles, most of them have decorated their homes and vehicles. Decorative items are in high demand these days, including national flags, multi-colored garlands, badges and portraits of Quaid-e-Azam and other national heroes. The national flag will be hoisted at important buildings to celebrate the day in a befitting manner. Printers and makers of bindings, flags, banners and badges are fully engaged in their business. They are also making arrangements to dispatch these items to other areas of the country to meet growing demand.
