Preparations being made to bring Abid Boxer back to Pakistan

LAHORE (92 News) – Preparations being made to bring notorious ex-inspector of police and encounter specialist Abid Boxer back to Pakistan from Dubai where he was arrested yesterday by the Interpol.
Startling revelations are expected with the repatriation of the ex-cop from Dubai as many questions need to be investigated regarding the former encounter specialist.
On Thursday, former police inspector Abid Boxer was arrested by the Interpol from Dubai airport. He had been on the run for the past 11 years for his involvement in extrajudicial killings, connections with the underworld and land-grabbing allegations.
The former officer had fled to Dubai in 2007 in order to avoid arrest and for fear of being killed. Authorities had been searching for him ever since but Abid had been keeping a very low profile which helped in his evasion.
He joined the police force on sports basis and was promoted to the rank of inspector after he killed a number of people in fake encounters on the orders of his superiors. The encounter specialist will soon be shifted to Lahore.
On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has announced to move the Supreme Court against Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif over the allegations leveled by former inspector Abid Boxer.
He said that former inspector had confessed to having killed the people on the order of the Punjab chief minister.
“For this reason, the court terms them (Sharifs) a mafia. There are separate laws for the powerful and the weak,” he maintained.
