Preparations for PPP rally in Lahore gains momentum
LAHORE (92 News) – The preparations for Pakistan Peoples’ Party’s (PPP) historic power show in the provincial capital’s Mochi Darwaza gain momentum on Sunday.
The whole city is being decorated with colorful welcome banners and the rally day will prove that the city is a strong hold of PPP.
PPP’s die-hard workers will attend the rally where the party's Patron-in-Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address participants.
The workers have also prepared new party song. PPP leader Shaukat Basra danced on new party song for the rally scheduled tomorrow (Monday) in Lahore.
While visiting the rally spot, PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that Sharif family wanted to throw Bhutto family out by filing political cases but they themselves disqualified.
PPP local and provincial leadership is busy to fill Lahore mochi gate ground with public. Party flags and panaflexes have been fixed at different roads. Ground is also being decorated for the rally.
PPP’s provincial president Qamar Zaman Kaira said that PPP leadership has been cleared of corruption charges but Sharif family’s corruption has been proved.
Kaira went on to say that one of the brothers is praising the judiciary and the other one is criticizing it.
