Preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) in full swing

LAHORE (92 News) – All preparations to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) on Nov 10 (Sunday) are in full swing across Pakistan with religious enthusiasm and solemnity. The government and religious organizations have planned a number of activities including seminars, conferences, milad and other discussion programmes to celebrate the annual event. Special programmes are being finalized to highlight the glaring aspects of the life of the holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Mosques, government and private buildings, markets, shopping centres and roads are being decorated with green buntings, flags and colourful lights. Various social, educational institutions and religious organizations are organizing their programmes for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervour. People across the country are decorating and illuminating their houses and streets, besides bazaars with lights and green flags to show their respect and love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). All bazaars, commercial shopping centers, government and private buildings are being illuminated creatively. Concerned departments have been directed to give every possible help and clearance to routes of processions. The vendors have set up colorful stalls with unique collection of badges, stickers, buntings, flags and banners inscribed with the slogans paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) across the country. Eid Milad-un-Nabi’ processions will be taken out and ‘Mahaafil-e-Milad’ will be held across the country to celebrate the sacred day. The Punjab government has also prepared a contingency security plan with coordination of other law enforcement agencies to guard the processions. On Sunday, the federal government has decided to hold Rehmatulil Aalimeen Conference on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal. This was said by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator-Chairman Standing Committee on Information Faisal Javed.  The PTI leader took his tweet and said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the conference on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal. “Rehmatulil Aalimeen (ﷺ) Conference is being held on #12thRabiUlAwal Sunday the 10th Nov 2019. Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the conference insha’ALLAH #RabiulAwwal,” Faisal Javed tweeted. On Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) across the country at an official level. He directed the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony to make arrangements to host the international Seerat-e-Rehmat-ul-Alameen (SAW) Conference. All the provincial governments were also instructed to organize seminars and conferences to highlight the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The prime minister said that Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) will be celebrated across the county with religious fervor and enthusiasm.
