President Alvi distances himself from Imran Khan's stance regarding conspiracy

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - President Arif Alvi has distanced himself from Imran Khan's position regarding the conspiracy.

In a statement on the issue of cipher, the president said that he was not convinced that there was any conspiracy. "The letter has been sent to the Chief Justice because he has doubts. It would be better to take circumstantial evidence on this matter," he opined. 

President Arif Alvi further said that when the PTI government was removed, Imran Khan became frustrated.

"Imran Khan's decision not to go to the assembly was personal. Had they ask me, I would have given them some another advice. The Army Chief will be appointed according to the constitutional way," he maintained.
