President Arif Alvi accepts resignation of Justice Ejazul Ahsan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - On the advice of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, President Arif Alvi accepted the resignation of Justice Ejazul Ahsan on Friday.

Justice Ejazul Ahsan had tendered his resignation under the Article 179 and 206 of the constitution. "I do not want to continue to work as a judge of the Supreme Court. It was an honour for me to work as the judge," he declared.

Justice Ejazul Ahsan was against the action against Justice Mazahar Naqvi and he had not participated in the Supreme Judicial Council meeting.
