President Arif Alvi will consult me on summary of army chief's appointment: Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that President Arif Alvi will consult him on the summary regarding appointment of the army chief.

Talking to senior journalists on Wednesday, he said that President Arif Alvi is often in touch with him. "Shehbaz Sharif consults his absconding brother Nawaz Sharif. Will the President belonging to the PTI not consult me? I am the chairman of my party. The President will definitely consult me," he maintained.

The PTI chairman said that the nation will stand against the person who thinks he will get Imran Khan beaten by appointing the army chief of his choice.

"The nation will not further accept the way with which the country is being run," he added.

He said that the dream of 12 parties to control the army will not be fulfilled.

"The regime change caused an economic loss to the country. People are losing trust in the political system. There will be political climax on November 26. I want relations with the US on equality basis. The Sharif family got their cases quashed by amending the NAB laws," he added.
