ISLAMABAD (92 News) - President Dr Arif Alvi has written a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial, demanding that the judicial commission should be formed for a probe into the alleged letter.

He demanded that the CJP should himself head the commission. "A grave political crisis is looming in the country. "A big political division is emerging among the people of Pakistan. We should try to avoid further loss and disturbance. The prime minister has also expressed the wish for the establishment of the commission," he opined.

The President said that misunderstandings are increasing and opportunities being wasted. "Confusion is increasing and there is also a crisis in the economy," he added.

He requested the CJP to form the judicial commission for a thorough probe into the alleged conspiracy. "In the past, the SC had formed the judicial commissions for the matters of national security, solidarity, autonomy and public interest," he maintained.

Meanwhile, President Arif Alvi also held a meeting with Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf.
