President dissolved assembly, now he should be ashamed to address it: Kh Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that President Arif Alvi had dissolved the assembly and now he should be ashamed to address it.

Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the President returns the summaries and does not take oath from the members. "The President is akin to his leader," he maintained.

Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the President who visited the parliament is the person who broke the constitution.

"The President is the pillar of the state who violated the constitution. According to the constitution, the Article 6 can be applied to the President," he argued.
