President Dr Arif Alvi visits 'panahgah' in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi paid a surprise visit to a 'panahgah' in Peshawar's Pajgi area on Monday.

He took meal with the dwellers and inquired about their problems. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Labour Shaukat Yousafzai also accompanied him.

The labourers said that they used to sleep on pavement and now comfortable place is available for them.

Earlier, President Dr Arif Alvi held a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkwa Governor Shah Farman.

They discussed law and order in the province, including in the merged tribal districts.

The Governor apprised the President about administrative and educational matters in public sector universities.
