President Mamnoon Hussain signs Electoral Reforms Bill 2017

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Mamnoon Hussain has signed the Electoral Reforms Bill 2017 on Thursday, making it an act. The bill was approved by the National Assembly the same day. According to the Act, a person disqualified by the Supreme Court can also become the president of a party. The Electoral Reforms Act has paved the way for Nawaz Sharif to become the party president. The PML-N General Council will elect Nawaz Sharif as party president today.
