PM, President & COAS express grief over Kulsoom Nawaz’s death

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa have expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former three-time premier Nawaz Sharif. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he is grieved over the death of Kulsoom Nawaz. COAS Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed his grief and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on the sad demise of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. “May Allah bless the departed soul eternal peace at Heaven – Amen,” COAS said. Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar has also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. He prayed may Allah Almighty rest her soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude. PTI leader Shirin Mazari said that Kulsoom Nawaz was a courageous lady. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Syed Khurshid Shah and Dr Yasmin Rashid have also condoled her death with the bereaved family. PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari has also expressed heartfelt condolence over the death of Kulsoom Nawaz. Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed, JI ameer Sirajul Haq, Senate former chairman Raza Rabbani, Sindh former governor Muhammad Zubair and people from different walks of life have expressed grief over the death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. Senator Mushahidullah said that Kulsoom Nawaz rendered excellent services for democracy and she was courageous lady. Association of Pakistani Lawyers Britain Chairman Barrister Amjad Malik has expressed grief over the sad demise of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. He said that democracy was restored in the country due to her political struggle. Amjad Malik is with the bereaved family in hour of grief. Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj has also condoled the death of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz with the Sharif family.
