President, PM strongly condemn unprovoked Indian firing in Sialkot

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have strongly condemned the unprovoked Indian firing in Sialkot on Friday. They also expressed condolence over the loss of lives by the Indian firing. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed Foreign Office and defence authorities to take up the matter with their counterparts. President Mamnoon Hussain has said that India will have to pay a heavy price for its aggression. “By targeting civilian population, India is trampling the international law, traditions and agreements.” Meanwhile, Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has urged India to stop ceasefire violations forthwith and restore peace and tranquility at the Line of Control and the Working Boundary. In a statement, he expressed extreme concern of the Pakistan government at the continued ceasefire violations by India.
