President signs KP-FATA merger bill

ISLAMABAD (92 News) President Mamnoon Hussain signed on Monday a landmark bill for the merger of Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). KP Assembly on Sunday approved the KP-FATA merger bill with two-thirds majority. Earlier, it was already approved from the upper and lower chambers of the Parliament. The bill approved by the Parliament is titled as the Thirty-First Amendment Act, 2018.
