Presidential election to be held on Sep 4

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued the schedule of the presidential election. According to the schedule issued by the ECP, the presidential election will be held on September 4. The nomination papers can be filed to the presiding officers in Islamabad and the four provinces in the election commission on 27th of this month. The scrutiny of the nomination papers will be conducted on 29th of this month, while candidature can be withdrawn by 1200 hours on 30th of this month. The list of validated candidates will be published the same day at 1:00 pm. Voting for the election will be held in the National Assembly and the four provincial assemblies from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
