SRINAGAR (92 News) – The Indian government has imposed the President’s rule in the Occupied Kashmir to suppress Kashmiris’ right to self-determination. After the imposition of the President’s rule, the Parliament will do all legislation. Meanwhile, Pakistan has strongly condemned the imposition of the President’s rule in the Occupied Valley. In a statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that imposition of President's rule after the Governor's rule in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian government is another step in the continuity of Indian atrocities and barbarism. The minister asked the world organizations and defenders of human rights to play their due role in urging India to stop its atrocities on innocent Kashmiris. Shah Mehmood Qureshi also demanded the UN secretary general immediately appoint a special representative on the Kashmir issue.
