Presiding officers kidnapped but case not lodged till now: Khaqan Abbasi

KARACHI (92 News) – Former premier and PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday said that the presiding officers were kidnapped during the NA-75 Daska by-poll but no case was registered till now.

Speaking to the journalists, the former prime minister mentioned that the presiding officers were kidnapped but no action was taken. “Is it not a crime to abduct presiding officers," he asked.

He also held Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan responsible for the vote theft, adding that he asked for re-polling at 20 polling stations after exposing rigging. "If you want to contest than hold re-election in the entire constituency," he challenged to the premier.

"The sanctity of public mandate is being violated by PM’s ministers, advisers and administration. Re-election should be held in the entire NA-75," Khaqan Abbasi maintained.
