Previous govt treated backward districts like stepmother: CM Usman Buzdar

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the previous government had treated the backward areas like stepmother.

Talking to tribal elders on Monday, he said that today Fort Munro, Koh Suleman and backward areas of Punjab have joined the race of progress.

"The tribal people are near to my heart. We will provide equal facilities to all citizens," he added.

The chief minister said that the scope of the Koh Suleman Authority had been enhanced after activating it. "The KSD will also work for the tribal areas of Rajanpur along with Dera Ghazi Khan," he added.

He said that they would equal facilities to dwellers of Koh Suleman and Fort Munro. "Now the conditions of the people, not the rulers, are changing."

The visitors thanked the chief minister for starting unmatched uplift projects in Fort Munro.
