Previous govt used to term inflation as development: Maryam Nawaz

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that the former government used to term inflation as development.

Talking to the media on Thursday, she said that the former government had laid the explosive devices and they will inform the people about them one by one.

"We are not weeping like the previous government and resolving the problems of the masses. We are not come under the pressure of any group. It is not good to pull the institutions in politics. We will try to complete the tenure and go to the election," she maintained.

Maryam Nawaz said that the prime minister had taken steps for austerity. "We can feel the pain of the people due to inflation. The government gave a relief package of Rs28 billion after the increase in the petrol prices," he added.

She said that flour and sugar prices had been reduced. "The number of utility stores will be increased. It will not be wrong to term Bani Gala as money gala."

The PML-N vice-president said that the government decided to counter Imran Khan after his threat. "The demand of electricity is increasing day by day. Nawaz Sharif ran the power producing units keeping in view the future," she added.
