Prices of edible items increase just after price hike of petroleum products

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prices of edible items have increased just after price hike of petroleum products.

According to the report of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), prices of 27 items  have increased. Ratio of inflation have increased to 16.97 and price of flour have increased in different cities to record high.

The report says that price of potato have increased to Rs3.15 per kg, tomato increased to Rs4.48 per kg, onion increased to Rs2.29 and sugar price have increased to Rs0.71. Prices of eggs, pulses, milk, yogurt have also increased.

Meanwhile, price of flour have decreased to Rs175.03 paisas per 20kg and chicken prices have also come down to Rs14.90 in current week.

On the other hands, transporters have increased fares.
