Prices of sacrificial animals go sky high five days before Eidul Azha

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prices of sacrificial animals have gone sky high just five days before Eidul Azha.

Traders have declared the high rates of sacrificial animals an outcome of inflation.

In Lahore’s Shahpur Kanjra market, camels decorated with painting on their skin are centre of attention by customers. The price of a camel is being demanded Rs 600,000.

In Lahore animal markets have been established at Shahpur Kanjra. Raiwind Road, NFC Society Multan Road, New King Lane Housing Society, Sports Complex Adda Rakh Chabail, Burki Road, LDA City and Saggian Road.

The city administration has banned the sale of sacrificial animals other than the fixed points.

Stringent security arrangements have been made for the animal markets.
