KARACHI (92 News) – Prices of sacrificial animals have gone beyond the reach of a common man just one day before Eidul Azha. According to a survey conducted by 92 News, the price of a single animal has increased by Rs 10,000 while the rate of a big animal has gone up by Rs 40,000. People visiting markets to purchase sacrificial animals are forced to return their homes empty-handed due to high prices. They said that it had become very difficult to sacrifice animals on Eidul Azha due to high rates. "Prices of animals are very high as compared to the previous year. However, we have to follow the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS)," they added. On the other hand, violations of SOPs are continuing by traders and buyers.
