Prime Minister Imran Khan briefed about preparations for Senate election

LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed about preparations for the Senate election during his visit to Lahore on Friday.

He was also informed about the links with the opposition lawmakers and allies.

During the meeting, he discussed overall situation of the uplift projects and administrative affairs of the province.

Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the authorities concerned to focus on public relief matters and complete the uplift projects at the earliest.

He said that he was trying to stop the use of money in the Senate elections. "We will award tickets on merit. We will review services for the party rendered by interested candidates as well as his competence," he added.

He also reviewed in detail the names of the recommended candidates.
