Prime Minister Imran Khan lauds performance of NCOC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday. NCOC Chairman Asad Umar briefed the prime minister about 100-day performance of the department. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan lauded the performance of the National Command and Operation Centre. He said that the centre was created to guide the nation during the difficult time. “The National Command and Operation Centre proved its importance by guiding the nation and made the nation proud of it,” he added. He also appreciated the resilience and adaptability of the nation to adjust to the new normal by following SOPs and face the challenge as one nation. Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the authorities concerned to ensure strict implementation of SOPs to curtail the spread and prevent any resurgence of Covid-19 during Eidul Azha. He also directed to undertake all required administrative actions to implement the strategy of smart lockdown and continue mass awareness campaign. Imran Khan paid glowing tributes all the doctors and paramedics, emergency responders working as frontline workers in the battle against COVID-19. He acknowledged the role and services of health care workers, emergency responders and management team from all the provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, federal ministers and high-ranking army officers attended the meeting.
