Prime Minister Imran Khan once again invites India to dialogues

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has once again invited India to dialogues on Wednesday. In his address the nation after Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian aircraft inside Pakistani airspace, he said that the war will not be in anyone’s control if it started. He said that he had invited India to dialogues after the Pulwama incident. “Our 70,000 people have been martyred during 10 years.” The prime minister said that Pakistan will take action if India provides proofs of the involvement of any Pakistani in the Pulwama incident. “After the Pulwama incident, I feared some activity from India.” He said that he had talked to the COAS and the Air Chief in the morning and took action today. Earlier today, the PAF shot down two Indian aircraft and arrested two pilots. Director General of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor addressed a press conference moments earlier and said Pakistan wants peace and India needs to understand war is a failure of policy. On Tuesday, Indian military aircraft violated the LoC as they "intruded" from the Muzaffarabad sector and were forced to return owing to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force. The incursion into the Pakistani air space followed a series of threats by Indian political and military leadership following the attack on an Indian Army convoy at Pulwama by a local youth, in reaction to the oppression unleashed by the occupational forces.
