Prime Minister Imran Khan reaches Malaysia on two-day visit

KUALA LUMPUR (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan reached Malaysia on a two-day visit on Monday. Malaysian Minister for Defence Mohamad Sabu and senior officials of the Malaysian government received him at Bunga Raya Complex, Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Pakistan High Commissioner to Malaysia Amna Baloch and other officers were also present. Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razzak Dawood and Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood are accompanying the prime minister. Prime Minister Imran Khan used the Chinese airspace instead of Indian to reach Malaysia. During the visit, both the leaders would have tete-a-tete, followed by delegation-level talks. They will witness signing of important agreements and MoUs and have joint press stakeout. Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address a think-tank event organized by the Institute of Strategic and International Studies of Malaysia. During his various interactions, the premier will share his vision about Pakistan and underline Pakistan's positive contribution to regional and international peace and security. Imran Khan will also highlight the dire human rights and humanitarian situation in Occupied Kashmir, emphasize the importance of averting risks to regional peace and stability posed by Indian belligerence, and underscore the importance of peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.
