Prime Minister Imran Khan resolves to eliminate corruption

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday resolved to eliminate corruption from the country.

Addressing Ulema and Mushaikh Conference on Monday, he said that he alone could not make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state. "In this regard, Ulema and Mushaikh will have to play their role," he added. "A person, who was declared a convict by court, fled after telling a lie. Those whom against a theft of billions of rupees proved are seeking the NRO."

The prime minister said that a nation when it is unable to distinguish between good and bad. "The theft of a cow or buffalo does not matter, but a country destroys when the prime minister and ministers are thieves," he added.

He said that no one can dare to speak against the Jews as they are organized.

Earlier chairing a meeting of Prime Minister's Committee on Climate Change, Prime Minister Imran Khan said appreciated the efforts of Ministry of Climate Change directed to actively look into the possibility of net zero emissions for Pakistan which may become possible with enhancement of the carbon sequestration potential.

Underscoring the need for putting in place Early Warning System to mitigate impacts of erratic climate change, the prime minister also stressed upon the need for water treatment plants to purify contaminated surface water of the rivers.
