ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan is presiding over the ongoing meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) on Friday. Sources said that the federal ministers, special assistants and representatives of four provinces will participate in the meeting. The forum will discuss Aviation Division’s decision regarding certification at airports. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza will brief the meeting about the current situation. The meeting will also share the views on reducing more staff in offices. The sources said that Sindh would again demand a ban on the closure of inter-provincial borders. The provincial representatives will inform the meeting about coronavirus situation in their respective provinces. The forum will also discuss the provision of equipment in hospitals. On March 16, Prime Minister Imran Khan had presided over a meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) to review the implementation of the decisions made by the National Security Committee (NSC). He was briefed about the latest situation of coronavirus across the country. All the chief ministers, who were present through the video link, briefed about the steps taken in their respective provinces to combat coronavirus. Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri, Interior Minister Ijaz Shah, Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh, Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbass Bukhari and others were also present on the occasion.
