Prime Minister Imran Khan warns of strict action if SOPs not implemented
LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned of strict action if the standard operating procedures (SOPs) were not implemented.
Addressing a high-level meeting on Saturday, he said that the government would determine the hotspot and close the areas. “People will not be allowed to go to public places without masks. The lockdown means closure of the entire economy,” he maintained.
The prime minister said that the coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly and the people will have to take the responsibility to implement the SOPs. “There will be a great loss if the SOPs not followed,” he added.
He said that a large number of people in Pakistan are living below the poverty line. “The lockdown imposition is not a problem in rich countries. The lockdown has made New York bankrupt. We faced a lot of difficulties in preparing the budget,” he said.
