Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expresses displeasure at unscheduled loadshedding

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed displeasure at unscheduled loadshedding in Ramazan on Thursday. While chairing the 16th Cabinet Committee meeting on energy, Nawaz Sharif said that the government is taking steps to end energy crisis in the country. Secretary for Water and Power Younus Dagha briefed the meeting on electricity load management during the holy month of Ramazan. The meeting discussed power supply situation in Karachi and matters related to K Electric. The electricity projects from 2015 to 2018 were also discussed in the meeting. The meeting briefed the prime minister about the demand and supply of the electricity. Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi were present at the meeting.
