Priyantha Kumara lynching case: Police complete challan, hand over to prosecution team

SIALKOT (92 News) - The police completed the challan of the Priyantha Kumara lynching case and handed it over to the prosecution team.

According to the police, 15 accused, out of total 79, participated in the torture of the Sri Lankan citizen. Seven accused have given the confessional statement.

Priyantha had not hurt the sentiments of anyone. But the people were instigated by making the removal of the sticker as basis of the incident.

The Sialkot DPO said that the police had completed the investigations on the scientific lines.

"Saboor instigated the people while Hameer attacked the victim with scissors. Malik Irshad and Taimoor attacked Priyantha with a concrete slab and a brick respectively.
