Producer Rehan Siddiqi meets US Congresswoman to discuss relief for flood victims

WASHINGTON (Imran Raj) - Rehan Siddiqi, a well-known host and producer of over 500 concerts across overseas community, held a meeting with Sheila Jackson, the American Congress representative, to discuss relief activities for flood victims in Pakistan.

Sheila Jackson is visiting Pakistan along with a delegation. During her stay, she will meet the top government figures, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and extend her support to the people affected by the floods in Pakistan.

The delegation will also visit the flood-affected areas in Pakistan, after which the relief activities will be started immediately after assessing the damage caused by the flood.

Rehan Siddiqi, who has become a unique identity across America for his social and welfare work, said that many people have suffered a lot due to the floods and the help given to these people is not enough to resolve their problems.

He is popular among political circle of the US and has always promoted friendship between Pakistan and the US. He played a major role in bringing American leadership to Pakistan for flood relief efforts.

Siddiqi has been a big support for the entertainment industry as well as has a pivotal role in mobilizing the overseas Pakistani to help the flood victims in Pakistan.
