ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prof Hafiz Saeed, the chief of banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa, has been placed under house arrest for on Monday. His residence in Johar Town will be declared a sub-jail. The house arrest order has been issued for six months. The Punjab Home Ministry has issued a notification in this regard. The police will implement the house arrest order. According to the notification, activities of Jamatud Dawa and its subsidiary organizations will be monitored strictly. Moreover, Abdullah Obaid, Zafar Iqbal, Abdur Rahman Abid and Qazi Kashif Niaz have also been placed under house arrest under the Schedule 2.
