Progress was blocked by imposing 'change' under a conspiracy: Nawaz Sharif

HAROONABAD (92 News) - PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said that progress was blocked in the country by imposing a 'change' under a conspiracy.

Addressing a big public gathering on Tuesday, he said that he had said goodbye to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), but the PTI chairman again approached it.

He said that the change wreaked havoc with Pakistan. "Today a 'roti' is being sold at Rs25. Power bills have been increased by several times. This destruction has been caused to the country in the name of the change," he maintained.

Nawaz Sharif said that he had reduced the price of electricity, but the former rulers increased its rate. "In the last PML-N tenure, the monthly power bill was at Rs1,000 and now it has been increased to Rs20,000," he added.

He said that he was removed as the prime minister for not getting a salary from his son. "I was imprisoned. I was unable to attend the funerals of my father and mother," he added.

The PML-N Quaid said that he did not disclosed the national secrets despite facing cruelty. "The person who attacked Pakistan has met his end. The PTI founder's tenure was the most corrupt period in the country's history. The former chief justice declared him 'Sadiq' and 'Amin'," he maintained.

He expressed his resolve to bring back prosperity in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz said that those who unleashed atrocity against Nawaz Sharif had met their end. "The PTI founder was distributing sweets when Nawaz Sharif was sentenced. The PTI founder committed a heinous crime, but Nawaz Sharif did not offer sweet to anyone on the conviction of PTI founder," she added.

She said that victory will have to be secured for Nawaz Sharif and the 'lion will have to be stamped to again run the wheel of progress.
