ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi said that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave the concept of Islam to Ummah in a very clear way.
Addressing concluding session of International Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference in Islamabad, the president said the current government strongly believes in emulating the state of Madina for creation of a better Islamic state.
Arif Alvi maintained that the Ehsaas program started by the government is a step in the direction of a welfare state where vulnerable segments of population will be taken care of by the state.
The president said the Muslim world today is facing a number of challenges and issues and is looking forward to a stronger leadership. He also said Muslim Ummah is witnessing the plight of Kashmiris that have been held under lock down for the last three months.
International Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference in connection with Eid Milad-ul-Nabi held in Islamabad. It was held under the auspices of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony.
The theme of this year’s conference was State of Madina and concept of modern Islamic Welfare State – in light of teachings of the prophet (PBUH). The opening session of the conference is being chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The event was attended by religious personalities, Ulemas, Mashaikh and scholars besides people from various walks of life. A large number of scholars from various Islamic countries were also in attendance.

Addressing International Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (SAW) Conference, he said Allah took oath from all prophets regarding belief on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who will be final in the chain of Prophethood. All the prophets mentioned the promised prophet (PBUH) in their times.
