Prosperity impossible without supremacy of law, says PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that prosperity was impossible without supremacy of the law.

Addressing a ceremony of the Insaf Lawyers Forum on Thursday, he said that the apostasy could run, but the system of injustice and cruelty could not run.

"Today there is a decisive time in Pakistan. All unemployed politicians have united. Keep it in mind, people take to streets for some ideology, not to protect someone theft," he added.

PM Imran Khan said that Shireeen Mazari had started weeping on listening the diseases of Nawaz Sharif. "We listened to the details of the diseases of Nawaz Sharif during the cabinet meeting for six hours," he added.

The prime minister said that Nawaz Sharif himself is sitting in London and asking the people to take to streets. "They all (the opposition) cannot blackmail me," he added.

He said that those speaking against the Army are following the Indian agenda. "Today we are safe due to the Pak Army, which standing with the government in each difficult time. The Pak Army helped the government in each matter, including coronavirus. The Pak Army saved Karachi. General Zaheerul Islam had demanded resignation from Nawaz Sharif as he knew about the money theft of the latter," he added.

He said that no one is above the law in the State of Madinah. "Nawaz Sharif and his family do not accept the Supreme Court. They do not accept the court verdicts because they do not accept the law," he maintained.

Imran Khan said that the Sharif family could not tell from where they made billions of rupees. "A country cannot make progress when its rulers are busy making money," he added.

He announced health cards for the ILF. "We are first time providing bank financing for housing. The government will also help the ILF get their houses," he said.
