PRSP employees stage sit-in on Mall Road

LAHORE (92 News) – Employees of the Punjab Rural Support Program staged a sit-in in favor of their demands on the Mall Road on Thursday. A large number of women also participated in the demonstration. The protesters exchanged hot words with the police when the latter tried to vacate the road. Later, the police arrested five protesters. Owing to the protest, a severe traffic blockage was witnessed in the areas around the Mall Road.
