PSE is one of the best exchanges in the world, says PM Nawaz

KARACHI (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that the entire nation should ask why the country has been pushed into darkness and action will be taken against those involved in taking the country to this level. Addressing the award ceremony of Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi, he said that the entire world is saying that the Pakistan Stock Exchange is one of the ten best exchanges in the world. The prime minister said that the government has a vision of cheap and abundant supply of electricity in the country, adding that work is continuing on various projects. “The role of companies showing best performance in the stock exchange is commendable for giving a prosperous turn to the country's economy,” the PM said. Nawaz Sharif said that the nationalization in the 70s had destroyed the national economy but today we have become successful in putting it on the track of progress. “He said the foreign exchange reserves have reached record high level.” The prime minister said that Gwadar today is a bright chapter of development of the country, adding that the gas and electricity load shedding will end by 2018.
