PSL 6 kicks off with colourful ceremony in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The Pakistan Super League Season 6 started with a colourful ceremony at National Stadium, Karachi on Saturday.

Renowned singers Atif Aslam, Hamaima Malik, Naseebo Lal and Pakistan-Dutch singer Imran Khan performed during the ceremony.

The digital technology was used dexterously. Excellent display of fireworks enthralled the Karachiites.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, PCB chairman Ehsan Mani said that the reason behind the success of the PSL is enthusiasm of fans. "The PSL has become a brand now. We are thankful to foreign countries for visiting Pakistan," he added.

He also thanked security forces and the government for the successful conduct of the PSL. "Only 7,700 spectators can visit National Stadium, Karachi due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gaddafi Stadium will accommodate only 5,500 spectators, More spectators will be allowed after the situation improves," he added.
