PSL season 5 postponed indefinitely
LAHORE (92 News) – The PSL 2020 (PSL 5) has been postponed indefinitely after a meeting between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises.
The PCB announced this decision officially and informed the broadcasters. The decision was taken by PCB and PSL franchises unanimously.
The decision was taken following the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country. The PCB had earlier tweaked the schedule of the league and introduced semi finals instead of play-offs.
The two semi finals were set to take place today at the Gaddafi stadium, Lahore. According to sources, the knock-out games will rescheduled, meanwhile, it is unlikely that the PSL will be played any further this season.
