PSP leader Anees Qaimkhani indicted

HYDERABAD (92 News) – The District and Sessions Court has on Thursday indicted Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Anees Qaimkhani. During the proceedings, PSP leader Anees Qaimkhani appeared before the court and recorded his statement after which the court indicted him. He has been accused of arson and facilitating murder in 1994. The PSP leader pleaded not guilty to the charges in the court, however, the court adjourned the hearing until December 14. Talking to media outside the court, Qaimkhani said that he believe that the court will provide him justice. He said that the Workers’ convention to be held in Hyderabad on November 25 would be historic. Previously, the PSP leader was released from custody on November 2 following Sindh High Court’s decision to grant them bail in a case relating to treatment of terrorists. The court ordered the accused to submit bail bonds of five hundred thousand rupees each. The court also barred him from leaving the country without permission of Anti-Terrorism trial Court and directed them to surrender their passports.
