PSX becomes world's most successful market, crosses psychological barrier of 57,000 points

KARACHI (92 News) - The Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday became the most successful market of the world by crossing the psychological barrier of 57,000 points.

The 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed an increase of 430 points.

Investors have expressed jubilation over an unprecedented increase in the rates of the shares.

On the other hand, the price of the US dollar has also started decreasing after positive news about the deal with the IMF. In the interbank trading, the dollar rate witnessed a decrease of Rs1.64 and was closed at Rs286.50.

In the open market, a significant decrease has been witnessed in the dollar rate.
