PSX establishes a new record, crosses limit of 66,000 points

KARACHI (92 News) - The 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange established a new record by crossing the limit of 66,000 points on Friday.

The PSX witnessed an increase of 1,505 points and was closed at 66,223 points.

Meanwhile, the dollar rate devalued by 25 paisa against the local currency in the interbank trading and was being sold at Rs283.87 at close.

However, the dollar price remained stagnant in the open market at Rs285.

Meanwhile, the per tola price of 24-karat gold witnessed a decrease of Rs300 on and was sold at Rs.218,600 against its sale at Rs.218,900 the last trading day.
