PSX further gains 701 points, closes at 58,899 points

ISLAMABAD (APP) - The 100-index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with bullish trend on Thursday, gaining 701 points andclosing at 58,899 points against 58,198.76 points of the previous trading day.

Meanwhile, dollar witnessed a 28-paisa devaluation against Pakistani rupee in the interbank trading and closed at Rs 285.27 against the previous day’s closing at Rs 285.1.

On the other hand, the imports of gold decreased by 1.11 percent during the first four months of the current fiscal year as compared to the corresponding period of last year. The gold imports during the July-October (2023-24) were recorded at US$8.883 million as compared to the imports of US$8.983 million during July-October (2022-23).
