PSX sees decline of over 827 points
KARACHI (92 News) – As the Supreme Court is set to announce its judgment that could topple Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is embroiled in a long-running corruption case that has gripped the country, the KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a down turn with a decline of more than 827 points on Friday.
During trading, the benchmark index saw a down turn with a decline of more than 827 points.
The Supreme Court will announce its verdict in Panama Papers case at 11:30am.
Around 3,000 police and paramilitary forces were to be deployed around the court in Islamabad ahead of the ruling, due to be announced Friday morning, a police spokesman said.
